I traced the included paper template to make a custom-shaped patch for a tear in my duffel bag, and it fused perfectly after just a few minutes with an iron. The adhesive held up through a weekend trip without peeling.
The iron-on patches worked great on a pair of jeans I nearly tossed, and the paper template made it easy to trace a star shape. I just wish the patches were slightly thicker for larger tears.
